EPILEPSY

The brain can be compared to a controlled electrical storm - billions of neurons transmit impulses that allow us to see, feel, move and breathe. Like in an electrical installation, everything works properly when signals reach the right places.

However, when neurons become too excitable, short circuits or excessive irritability appear, disruptions occur. If such a change in brain electrical activity leads to a change in behavior, we speak of a seizure. It can happen to anyone, but when it repeats regularly, epilepsy is diagnosed.
